Conversations is the flagship global event series by Gupshup, focused on the future of conversational engagement. It brings together business leaders, technologists, and innovators to explore how AI-driven messaging is reshaping customer experience. This global roadshow spanned 7 locations worldwide across the Americas, Middle East and Asia, featuring product launches, case studies, and networking sessions with industry leaders.
I served as the Chief Designer for the branding of the Gupshup Conversations event. My responsibility was to craft a unified visual identity that translated the event’s theme into a strong, memorable design language. This included developing the core brand system, stage graphics, digital and print collaterals, and adapting the identity across multiple regions where the event was hosted.

The Visual Identity

Creating the visual identity for this global roadshow was a particularly rewarding challenge. The visual language had to remain consistent across multiple geographies while adapting to different venue formats and limitations.

The Logo

The Conversations logo needed to feel inherently connected to the core Gupshup brand. I designed a clean, minimal mark that echoed the visual style of the Gupshup logo, ensuring brand continuity while giving the event its own identity.

Graphical Elements

To reflect Gupshup’s core focus on communication and technology, I incorporated motifs inspired by conversational interfaces. The design leaned into a futuristic, high-tech aesthetic through the use of dynamic, repeating patterns. These not only visually represented connectivity and flow but also added a sense of depth, especially effective on print materials where surfaces could otherwise feel flat.

The Marketing

The event’s visual identity was extended across social media posts, merchandise, emailers, videos, and more, ensuring a strong, consistent presence across all touchpoints. Visual cohesion played a key role in the event’s overall impact, with the bold, distinctive style earning positive feedback from both attendees and internal stakeholders.

The Impact

The Conversations event generated strong business results, driving over $1.1 million in ARR from India alone, and $650K+ from the Dubai edition. In addition to new business, the event also contributed to significant upsell revenue.
The visual identity played a key role in this success. Its distinct style became so strongly associated with Gupshup that it was later adapted and evolved for future events; cementing Conversations as a recognizable and memorable brand experience.
