Gupshup is a global Conversational Messaging and AI Agent Platform that enables businesses to engage with customers through WhatsApp, Instagram, RCS, and more.
I worked with Gupshup as their Lead graphic Designer for this large scale rebranding project. Gupshup wanted to evolve their branding to keep up with industry trends and to better position their latest AI offerings

Design for a new tech future

Gupshup’s branding evolution was a constant process and it went through many stages of refinement. The brand had to maintain its core visual identity but also needed fresh life to stand out in a crowded market.

Visual Direction

Gupshup’s updated brand identity was designed to feel light, modern, and approachable. The color palette was expanded by introducing cool blues to complement the original logo colors, creating a more flexible and contemporary system.

Logo Refinement

The logo underwent minimal but intentional changes to align with Gupshup’s evolving focus on AI, preserving recognizability while signaling technological depth.

Design Language

The visual style draws from soft gradients, glassmorphism, and Material UI principles; resulting in an interface that feels clean and fluid without losing clarity. These choices were made to evoke a sense of optimism and ease while supporting usability in a digital-first context

Balancing Product and Personality

As a B2B platform, product clarity was key. The design framework prioritizes clean, unobtrusive layouts that showcase interface screenshots effectively. To balance this, we incorporated real chat interactions and photography to add warmth and human context.
